All beginners are required to complete an Archery GB approved beginners course, over six lessons.
The course will be coached by one of our Archery GB qualified coaches. Indoor and outdoor lessons are available on a Sunday from 3:30pm until 5pm. After the 6 lessons, you are able to affiliate to join the Hart of Sherwood Club; please speak to Chris or Ian for pricing information.
From April until September we shoot outdoors at King George V Park, which is indicated on the map by the lower right marker. From October until March, we shoot indoors at Samworth Church Academy, which is indicated on the map by the upper left marker. Details of shooting times and addresses can be found at the bottom of the home page.
Each lesson lasts an hour and a half and you will have full use of club equipment. Lessons are available all year round for those aged 8 and above; however, under 18’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult. If 2 lessons are missed without a reason being provided, the coach reserves the right to end your course.

It will outline all the additional information needed and also state that you’ve been added to the waiting list please be patient. Once we have space available we will be in contact to book you in.
